Biography by Alasdair MacPherson: October 2007
I am 45 years old, married with two children and currently live in Bannockburn. I was born in Cowie and have spent all of my life living in the Bannockburn ward.
I was educated at Cowie and Bannockburn primary schools and then attended Bannockburn High School until 1979. For the last twenty years I have been self employed and run my own building company.
I am well aware of the local issues and the concerns which we all share. The period which I have served as a member of Bannockburn Community Council has given me an insight in to the issues which affect our community.
I believe that the SNP is the only party who has policies which defend the poorest and vulnerable in our community. I am a passionate believer in social justice for all.
