Stirling Council Elections 2007

Proposed Boundaries

Ward Review

Stirling Council has received initial proposals from the LGBC for multi-member wards for Council elections in 2007.
The initial proposal identifies seven multi-member wards with six 3-member wards and one 4-member ward.
The concept of ‘community focus’ is being used to underpin the design of multi-member wards. Electoral parity is also a prime consideration.
A column identifies the main communities that fall into the proposed new wards.
